Event Details

Join us at Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust for an evenings entertainment of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream on 21st June 2019

'With a quarrel raging between Oberon, King of the fairies and his Queen, Titania, four young lovers become entangled in their magical affray and soon no mortals are safe in those bewitched and bewitching woods outside Athens....'

Shakespeare's most enduringly popular comedy of love and intrigue, magic and mayhem, is bought to life by family favorites Quantum Theatre in their wonderfully funny and exuberant production of this classic Shakespeare's comedy.

Join us in the Carriage circle at Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust for an outdoor production of the event.
We thought you would appreciate a few more details about the evening:
• Seating is not provided so please bring your own chairs, rugs and picnic blankets.

• Gates open at 5.30pm for pre-show picnics and the entertainment will begin at 7.00pm.
• Consider the weather on the day – you may find you need to bring waterproofs or, we hope, sun block, as the performance will go on whatever the weather! You may also find a small torch would be useful as some external areas of the Castle are not lit.
• Picnics are welcome, but please note no cooking or barbeques are allowed.
• Regretfully, tickets are non-refundable, whatever the weather.
• We are offering refreshments and snacks for sale.

Please note: Booking fees may be slightly higher booking online, but if bought directly from the castle cost £1 per transaction.
