Enjoy an evening of foot-tapping dances, light music classics, and favourite arias and songs with the 2022 Commonwealth Games soloist Samantha Oxborough.

There’ll be sparkling Rossini, sultry Carmen and songs from The Sound of Music together with the gorgeous melodies of Borodin’s Prince Igor, Sullivan’s jaunty HMS Pinafore Overture and Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances.

Whether this is music you’ve grown up with or are hearing for the first time, you’re sure to love this superb selection and will be humming the tunes long after the concert is over.

Samantha Oxborough was watched by over 1 billion people worldwide when she sang the National Anthem solo at the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. She has performed at Proms in the Park, has sung duets with Sir John Tomlinson and Roderick Williams, and appeared with the Massed Welsh Male Voice Choirs in the Royal Albert Hall.
